Overview
MOTUL AUTO COOL OPTIMAL -37°C is a ready-to-use, long-life cooling liquid based on monoethyleneglycol, using Organic Acid Technology (OAT) additivation ("Organic Tech"). It is strongly recommended for all cooling systems — passenger cars, heavy duty, construction and agriculture vehicles, gardening equipment, ships and stationary engines — and is nitrite free, amine free, phosphate free, borate free and silicate free. It contains a bitterness agent to help deter drinking, since coolants have a naturally sweet taste but are harmful if swallowed.
Compatibility
Compatibility information not available.
Key Features
- Optimal protection of cooling systems against freezing and metallic parts against corrosion
- OAT technology provides excellent thermal exchange, improves engine cooling efficiency, prevents boiling
- Anti-corrosion properties remain stable at high temperature and with aging
- Low corrosion-inhibitor consumption allows extended drain intervals
- Water pump protection, avoids cavitation
- Friendly to seals, hoses, pipes and plastic parts
Applications
- Cooling systems of passenger cars, heavy duty vehicles, construction and agriculture vehicles, gardening equipment, ships, stationary engines
- Broad OEM/industry-standard fitment — see Specifications, OEM Approvals

Directions for Use
Ready to use — do not add water. Do not mix with non-organic (non-OAT) coolant products. Drain interval: according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Not to be used to protect drinking-water systems against freezing. Only check or drain the coolant when the engine is cold.
Installation and usage guidance is general reference only. Manufacturer instructions take precedence. Visitors uncertain about installation or use should seek professional advice.
