Overview
MOTUL MOCOOL is a concentrated cooling fluid for the cooling system of bikes, cars, quads, ATVs and UTVs, used when overheating is observed and/or in racing conditions to decrease engine operating temperature. IMPORTANT: MoCool does NOT provide any antifreeze protection. Some racing regulations do not allow anything other than pure water in the cooling system — check with race officials before use.
Compatibility
Compatibility information not available.
Key Features
- Engines run up to 15°C (30°F) cooler — improves thermal exchange and cooling system efficiency
- Optimal corrosion protection for the cooling system
- Recommended for magnesium, aluminum alloy, cast iron, copper, brass and bronze cooling systems
- Water pump protection, avoids cavitation
- Anti-corrosion properties persist at high temperature and with ageing; low corrosion-inhibitor consumption
- Friendly to seals, rubber pipes and plastic parts
Applications
- Cooling systems of motorcycles, cars, quads, ATVs, UTVs, especially in racing/overheating conditions
- Magnesium, aluminum alloy, cast iron, copper, brass and bronze cooling systems
- NOT for use in systems requiring antifreeze protection

Directions for Use
MoCool is a concentrate — do NOT use undiluted. Mix with distilled water at 5% (a 20:1 ratio) for immediate use as a coolant additive. Can be mixed with most monoethylene-glycol-based coolants. MoCool does NOT provide antifreeze protection. Some racing regulations only permit pure water in the cooling system — check with race officials before use.
Installation and usage guidance is general reference only. Manufacturer instructions take precedence. Visitors uncertain about installation or use should seek professional advice.
FAQ
Does Motul MoCool protect against freezing?
No — it explicitly does NOT provide antifreeze protection. It is a cooling-performance additive only.
How is Motul MoCool used?
Diluted with distilled water at 5% (a 20:1 ratio). Never use it undiluted.
How much cooler will my engine run with Motul MoCool?
Up to 15°C (30°F) cooler, per the official Technical Data Sheet.
