Overview
Radix is PIAA's silicone wiper blade with an automatic water-repellent barrier. As the wiper runs, the silicone rubber releases a water-repellent layer onto the windscreen, so raindrops bead up and clear instead of smearing. The silicone rubber is made in Japan and PIAA rates it as lasting twice as long as standard wiper rubber, with resistance to heat and ozone. A refillable silicone insert is available, and the blade is designed to wipe quietly without chattering. This page sells the blade on its own, in 13 lengths from 12" to 28".
