Overview

EnduraPro Basic is a high-performance OE-shape shock absorber by TEIN. Designed to use with the vehicle's original (OE) spring and upper mount, it replaces worn or leaking OE dampers while improving ride quality and handling without changing ride height. Also compatible with low down springs.

Key Features

  • Hydraulic Bump Stopper (H.B.S.): When regular shock absorbers fully stroke, bump rubbers compress and release repulsive force. H.B.S. internally converts stroke impact to thermal energy, reducing vehicle disturbance and improving damper durability. Activation point and damping force optimized per vehicle model.
  • Sealed Structure: Top end of shell pipe is narrowed, oil and gas injected, and the unit sealed by crimping metal. Massively shortens production process and cuts production cost while maintaining high quality.
  • High-Strength Shell Case: Shell case made of high-strength material with tensile strength ~510 MPa (OE: ~340 MPa). Larger diameter (Front: φ55 vs OE φ45; Rear: φ50.8 vs OE φ45) increases oil capacity for improved durability and long-term stable damping force.
  • OE Shape: Lower spring seat shaped identical to OE shock absorber. Direct replacement for OE dampers. Compatible with OE springs and low down springs.
  • Sold Per Pair: Available per pair (left & right set), allowing cost-efficient replacement of worn or damaged dampers. Full set of 4 recommended for first-time replacement.
