TEIN EnduraPro PLUS — SUBARU FORESTER (2019+)

Overview

EnduraPro PLUS is TEIN's high-performance OE-shape shock absorber with 16-level damping force adjustment. Like EnduraPro, it is designed for use with the vehicle's original (OE) spring and upper mount, and its lower spring seat is shaped identical to the OE shock absorber. It can replace worn or leaking OE dampers and can improve ride quality or handling without changing ride height, and it is also usable with TEIN lowering springs. The key distinction of EnduraPro PLUS is adjustable damping: 16-level damping force adjustment changes compression and rebound simultaneously, letting the driver modify ride comfort and handling according to preference using the adjustment dial. EnduraPro PLUS shock absorbers can be purchased individually, which limits the cost of replacing worn or damaged dampers. Series features such as H.B.S. and EDFC compatibility are model-dependent and are never assumed across the range.

• OE-Shape Design: The lower spring seat is shaped identical to the OE shock absorber. Designed for use with the vehicle's original (OE) spring and upper mount, EnduraPro PLUS replaces worn or leaking OE dampers and can improve ride quality or handling without changing ride height; it is also usable with TEIN lowering springs.
• Twin-Tube Construction: Compared to regular mono-tube systems, twin-tube construction attains longer strokes with smaller repulsive force, resulting in high ride comfort. Ample, smooth strokes help the vehicle negotiate gaps and bumps steadily on rough roads — smooth at low speed and stable at high speed.
• High Strength & Durability: The shell case is made of high-strength material with tensile strength around 150% of the OE shell case, and the enlarged shell case diameter increases oil capacity for improved durability and long-term stable damping force. For strut-type suspensions, fortified installation points improve the strength and durability of the bracket attaching to the vehicle. Strength and diameter increases vary per vehicle model.
• High-Performance Damper Oil: Exhibiting stable viscosity across a broad temperature range, the high-performance damper oil sustains smooth strokes and reliable damping force, with anti-foaming properties that protect against cavitation and resistance to overheating and long-term deterioration.
• Rust-Resistant Powder Coating: The shell case's bright TEIN-green powder paint coating excels in strength and durability. TEIN's 2-Layer, 1-Bake powder coating method with corrosion-proofing paint provides superior durability and rust protection for use in regions with heavy snowfall or coastal areas.
• Individual Replacement Availability: EnduraPro and EnduraPro PLUS can be purchased per 1 shock absorber, limiting the cost of replacing worn or damaged dampers.
• EDFC Compatibility (where applicable): EnduraPro PLUS is compatible with the EDFC Series, which offers easy damping force adjustment from the driver's seat. Some vehicle models are excepted — check vehicle-specific compatibility before ordering.

Conventional bump rubbers must still be fitted/used with H.B.S.-equipped dampers, per TEIN.
