Is MoS2 Leichtlauf 10W-30 good for Malaysia's hot weather and traffic jams?
Yes. The 30 hot grade covers normal operating temperatures, and its shear-stable formula keeps a steady lubricating film during long idling in traffic jams and hot afternoon drives. The first number (the cold rating) matters little in Malaysia's warm climate. Always use the viscosity your manufacturer specifies.
Can I mix MoS2 Leichtlauf 10W-30 with other oils, and is it safe for turbo and DPF engines?
It can be mixed with other commercially available engine oils for topping up, but it works best unmixed. It is tested for turbochargers and catalytic converters. It is not a low-ash oil, so it is not the right choice for diesel cars with a particulate filter (DPF) that require an ACEA C oil.
