Overview
A low-ash 5W-40 for modern petrol and diesel engines with particulate filters, carrying approvals from BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and VW (511 00). Synthetic technology provides high shear stability and excellent wear protection, and the low-SAPS formula protects exhaust after-treatment systems. For Malaysian conditions, with hot temperatures and heavy traffic, the 40 hot grade gives a strong lubricating film when the engine is working hard.

Yes. The 40 hot grade gives a strong lubricating film at high oil temperatures, which helps during long idling in jams, hot weather and fast highway runs. Stay within the viscosity grades your manufacturer allows.
Can I mix Top Tec 4110 5W-40 with other oils, and is it safe for turbo and DPF engines?
You can top up with another engine oil in an emergency, but use the same oil where possible: mixing with a normal-ash oil reduces the low-ash protection for particulate filters. It is a low-ash formula suitable for engines with particulate filters, and it is tested for turbochargers and catalytic converters.
