Overview
A fully synthetic 5W-50 with Liqui Moly's Molygen friction-reducing additive. The additive cuts internal friction and wear, which helps the engine run smoothly and can save fuel, while the high shear stability keeps the lubricating film strong under heavy load. It prevents deposits and suits longer intervals between oil changes. In Malaysia's heat and stop-go traffic it holds optimum oil pressure in all conditions, and it is tested for turbochargers and catalytic converters.
Compatibility
Check the oil specification in your owner's manual and match it with the approvals above, or look up your vehicle in the LIQUI MOLY Oil Guide.

FAQ
Is Liqui Moly Molygen 5W-50 suitable for my car?
It is suitable if your owner's manual calls for a 5W-50 oil to ACEA A3/B3, MB 229.1 or VW 502 00/505 00. Check the oil specification in your manual, not just the viscosity, and match it with the specifications listed on this page. If you are unsure, look up your car in the LIQUI MOLY Oil Guide or ask us.
Is Molygen 5W-50 good for Malaysia's hot weather and traffic jams?
Yes. The 50 hot grade gives a strong lubricating film at high oil temperatures, which helps during long idling in jams, hot weather and fast highway runs. Stay within the viscosity grades your manufacturer allows.
Can I mix Molygen 5W-50 with other oils, and is it safe for turbo and DPF engines?
It can be mixed with other commercially available engine oils for topping up, but it works best unmixed. It is tested for turbochargers and catalytic converters. It is not a low-ash oil, so it is not the right choice for diesel cars with a particulate filter (DPF) that require an ACEA C oil.
