Overview
A semi-synthetic 10W-40 low-friction oil with MoS2 (molybdenum disulfide) for extra wear protection. The solid lubricant forms a high-load film on metal surfaces, giving fast protection at start-up, low friction while driving and excellent emergency-running properties, which helps extend engine life. For petrol and diesel engines without particulate filters, it gives reliable protection against Malaysia's heat, heavy traffic and hard daily use.

Is MoS2 Leichtlauf 10W-40 good for Malaysia's hot weather and traffic jams?
Yes. The 40 hot grade gives a strong lubricating film at high oil temperatures, which helps during long idling in jams, hot weather and fast highway runs. The first number (the cold rating) matters little in Malaysia's warm climate. Stay within the viscosity grades your manufacturer allows.
Can I mix MoS2 Leichtlauf 10W-40 with other oils, and is it safe for turbo and DPF engines?
It can be mixed with other commercially available engine oils for topping up, but it works best unmixed. It is tested for turbochargers and catalytic converters. It is not a low-ash oil, so it is not the right choice for diesel cars with a particulate filter (DPF) that require an ACEA C oil.
